  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Gradually add flour, cinnamon, and salt, mixing until combined.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the baking pan evenly. Pre-bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, mix sliced apples, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. For the streusel topping, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Spread apple filling over pre-baked crust and top with streusel mixture.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
