  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for coating)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for 4-5 minutes until soft. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the apple mixture; cook until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare the dough: Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  4. Assemble: Place one tablespoon of cooled filling in the center of each biscuit, fold edges over to seal tightly.
  5. Coat: Dip sealed bombs in melted butter then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake: Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet; bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
