  • 22 Oreos (divided)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to brownie mix instructions and grease your 9×13 pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions and pour half into the pan.
  3. Crush the Oreos, reserving six for topping, and mix the rest into a bowl with softened cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, sugar, and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base once baked and cooled slightly.
  5. Bake again until set (about 30 minutes) and let cool.
  6. In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream to make ganache; drizzle over cheesecake layer and sprinkle reserved Oreos on top.
