  • 1 cup soft baking caramels (melted)
  • 1 medium green apple (chopped or thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup chopped gluten-free pretzels or nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Soak apple pieces in water mixed with lemon juice for 5-10 minutes to prevent browning.
  2. Melt chocolate with coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. Spread the melted chocolate onto a lined sheet pan to form a 1/4 inch thick layer.
  4. Sprinkle crushed pretzels over the chocolate, then layer diced apples and drizzle melted caramel on top, followed by another drizzle of melted chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set; alternatively, freeze for the last 20 minutes to speed up the process.
