  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk melted butter with cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat together sugar, eggs, espresso powder, and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients separately, then combine them with the wet mixture gently.
  5. Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 25-28 minutes.
  6. While brownies cool, create the coffee frosting by mixing heavy cream with instant coffee and beating it into softened butter and powdered sugar.
  7. Frost the cooled brownies with the coffee frosting and drizzle melted dark chocolate on top.
  8. Allow to set before cutting into squares.
