  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for boiling water)

Instructions

  1. Season sliced chicken with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown (4-5 minutes per side). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  6. Combine drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in sliced chicken and toss well.
