  • 2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes each).
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet; add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in jasmine rice until coated with oil; pour in chicken broth and heavy cream while scraping up browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Return seared chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook on low heat for about 18-20 minutes until rice absorbs liquid.
  6. Stir in frozen peas just before serving.
