  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chopped mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in fresh spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Allow mixture to cool slightly before mixing in grated cheese and cream cheese.
  6. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 24 squares.
  7. Place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each square.
  8. Fold over to seal firmly; brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
