Ingredients
Scale
1½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1½ tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
1 small garlic clove, finely minced (optional)
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
In a large bowl, toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the sprouts cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet without overcrowding.
Roast for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by simmering balsamic vinegar and honey in a saucepan for 2-3 minutes until thickened; stir in optional Dijon mustard and garlic if desired.
Toss the roasted Brussels sprouts in the warm glaze immediately after removing from the oven.
Serve hot, garnished with red pepper flakes if you like some heat.
