  • 1 ½ pounds golden Yukon potatoes (cut into chunks)
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 large yellow onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Pour the beef broth into your crockpot and add the cubed stew beef.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and beef bouillon.
  3. Layer Yukon potatoes, sliced carrots, and onion on top.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  5. Stir in frozen sweet peas towards the end of cooking.
  6. To thicken the gravy, whisk together cornstarch and water; stir into the stew and cook on high for an additional 10 minutes.
