  • granulated sugar
  • baking powder
  • ground cinnamon
  • salt
  • milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • vegetable oil
  • vanilla extract
  • egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • brown sugar (for cinnamon swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg (or flax egg).
  4. Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just mixed.
  5. Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  6. Layer half the batter in a greased loaf pan; sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl; lightly swirl with a knife.
