  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup hot coffee
  • 2 cups shredded kataifi dough (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 4 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate bar
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract, milk, and vegetable oil; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually stir in hot coffee until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool before preparing the filling.
  7. Toast kataifi dough with butter until golden brown; mix with pistachio cream.
  8. For ganache, heat chocolate and cream in the microwave until melted; whisk until smooth.
  9. Spread pistachio mixture over cooled cake and drizzle with ganache.
