  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes (or red-skinned)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle some parmesan cheese inside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream with butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic base until melted. Stir in most of the parmesan.
  4. Thinly slice potatoes and layer them in the baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until tender; broil for a golden top if desired.
