  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over the batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top and repeat the jelly dollops and swirls.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
