  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak by combining soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl. Coat the sliced steak and set aside.
  2. Chop the bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil followed by garlic and ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot; stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the steak to the pan along with shrimp; stir until shrimp turn pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
