  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a 12-cup muffin tin inside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, and salt until smooth.
  3. Carefully add vegetable oil or beef drippings into each muffin cup (about 1/4 inch deep) and return to the oven for 5 minutes until sizzling.
  4. Remove the tin from the oven and quickly pour batter into each cup until halfway full.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes without opening the oven door until puffed and golden brown.
